Book Discussion Groups for August

New members are always welcome at our book groups. Get reading and join us for our August meetings. Copies of the books are available for checkout at each book group location.

Our non-fiction book group, No Page Unturned, meets on August 1 at 6:30 pm at the Newark Library to discuss Driving Mr. Albert: A Trip Across America With Einstein's Brain by Michael Paterniti.
Kirkus:
Here's an urban legend that turns out to be true: the pathologist who autopsied Albert Einstein kept his brain, and magazine journalist Paterniti spent a nutty couple of weeks with him, ferrying it to California.

BookList:
In this unsparingy realistic account of the lives and deaths of a group of German boys on the Western front, the reader senses the tragedy of a whole generation blighted by the War.
